Man this going to sound Dumb. I have TWO helmets
1] DOT shorty with a small visor
2] German style [not dot]
Both of them pull back at around 60 mph on the Highway. to the point were the chin strap is very uncomfortable. They both fit OK not real loose.
Is there something that I could slide on the chin strap to make it wider or more comfy??
I came back from balled hill last night and damn near took it off and take the chance of a Ticket
Thank

Oddly enough.... My wife was having the same problem, and she found a neoprene kickstand cover that someone had given me sitting around in the garage (Still in the package) She took it, cut off the "angle" piece and slipped it over the chin strap. Says it is MUCH more comfy.

I suggest to put these helmets into the dustbin and buy a good helmet hat will stay on you head! A head & brain is to precious ... its worth to pretect it with a helmet that fits well .... ;-)

I suppose I should point out that my wife was having the problem with her Extra Small Bell Full Face helmet.

dont ride so fast.......or as someone else said in another thread "get the biggest thickest Maxipad you can find" LOL, I just thought I would chime in with a smart a$$ comment.

But seriously mine does the same thing It is hard to get rid of chew spit while riding with a helmet that is pulling up on your jaw

Hi.
Personally, I would chuck them both oin favor of a new full face helmet.
You only get one head.

Ive been runnin full face as of late. But when I run with my fulmer skid lid I first removed the useless wind catcher called a visor. That makes a big diff.

In your case though if wind in runnin under your lid and wippin your head then bro you might as well toss it. Cause its of no use to you.

You cant fix that. Thats a bad fit and thats probably worse than nothing at all.

I know its hot but you could run a thin beanie hat to take up some gap but once again that lids too loose.

I had the same problem and switched helmets. I went down a size and changed brands. The new 1/2 lid not only fits tighter on my head but, the front strap attachment point is farther forward on the helmet too. I also removed the visor.

If you can roll a helmet off the back of your head, it's not going to do you any good in a crash. Get a helmet that fits YOU!

I added a layer of soft Window insulating foam [3/4x1x10"] around the front of the German helmet under the Fabric liner.
MAN love it, fits tight stays in place at Speed.
