For removing the rear wheel: The book says to remove the chain connecting link. I wasgunna just loosen the alignment adjusting mechanisms as i did on my EVO. Is one of these a preferred method? Is there a special tool or technique for removing the chain connecting link? [i would prefer to avoid the flat-blade screwdriver and sore fingers routine]. Thanx in advance.

Tried first to push the clip with the flat blade screwdriver parallel to the length of the chain to push it back off the link. No good. Then tried perpendicular, towards myself. Top half popped off then bottom half. was easy. Got the wheel etc off. Gettin it cleaned up back there.
Next i am going to remove the brake rotor and the chain sprocket from the wheel and clean things up there.
