Hey all!
I’ve been looking for quite some time to put a springer seat on my 2008 XL1200N, but because of the PCU, I’ve been holding of. However, I did find this website: http://motheroadcustoms.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx
They supply all the hardware necessary to convert a regular seat to the Springer style, and place the PCU in a metal box under the seat. They also supply multiple seats that can be bolted right on the hardware. Only downside is that they are pretty expensive, and there custumer service is not very fast/ friendly. Do any of you guys have any experience with this product? Good – Bad reviews? I’ve been using the search function but could find any decent review on the forum.

I know that a good alternative would be to just place the PCU somewhere else but I don’t want to make changes that are to permanent, or could risk heat issues etc.

scarfmace, please don't post identical duplicate threads in different sections. Decide what one section it should go in, and leave it at that.

If you're getting no responses, bump it up; and if it's in the wrong section, ask a mod to move it.

Thanks.
