it is with trepidation i have moved over to the Darkside, my wife who suffers from MS found the Sporty to cramped on long journey's, so it has been traded for an 08'Heritage Softy with boards on the rear, 1st thing i did was bin the screen until i get some lower deflectors as the wind buffetting is immense + i like bugs :), i only rode it home and already i miss the handling of the sporty exxon valdise springs to mind, it is comfy and anything that gets my wife back out enjoying the wind is worth every sacrifice.
my other vice is my Vstar custom which has been reborn to hunt and slay sports machines as i have also sold my FZ6, to help fund the softy.
When funds allow a vintage iron head will make its way into the garage as a work in progress so it is not all darkness there is some light at the tunnels end.
