Trip from TX to the FL keys. jump in for whole or part of the trip

I'm planning to ride from central TX to Key West FL sometime in Sept.
I want to stop in New Orleans for at least a day and a few stops in FL. I'm a lowroller and prefer cheap motels on the road as long as it's in a safe place. If anyone is interested in going along for all or part of the trip let me know.

Let me know when you hit Miami and I will ride with you to Key West.

I will be going on vacation in Sept also, so I might be out when you are in the area. Just let me know about what date you will be in the area.

I'm not sure if I should just continue this thread or start a new one but I hit the road tomorrow morning.

New Orleans, LA - Mon 13
Fort Lauderdale, FL - Tue 14/ Wed 15 (visit Miami from this hotel)
Key West, FL - Thur 16
Cape Coral, FL - Fri 17 (Visit an old buddy)
Tampa, FL - Sat 18 (visit another old buddy)
New Orleans, LA - Sun 19
Texas (Home) - Monday 20

Epic was from New Orleans to Fort Lauderdale.
That was something like 14 hours and almost 900 miles.
I promised myself I'd never do over 1,000 miles in a day agan since my Philly to Kansas trip in 1998. Well, this was too close to that.
From Fort Lauderdale I went to Miami and now I'm in Key West.
Internet access has been bad until today so I'm just collecting all the post- New Orleans pics and vids in my laptop for later editing when I get home.
I'm not reall happy with the first vid I posted so I'll re-edit it and repost it.
Well, it's back out to Margaritaville for another round.
Don't worry, it's walking distance from the hotel.
