Hey, Mainers, anyone know of a decent shop/person that does custom work - looking for some bars to be made, maybe some frame surgery too. I live in the Portland area - there used to NorthEast Chop Shop but guess they are gone.
Any names/contacts appreciated. Winter is coming, time to tear down the bike for a spring rebirth!

WHat are you looking to get done?

I want some bars made for starters. That's my primary interest. I'd like to talk about streching it some perhaps, and other more serious chopping.

Hey, thanks. I'll take a look at the list. I appreciate it!
Looks like I need to make some phone calls.

This shop is on Rt 1 in Freeport, but they may be able to help you, or at least point you in the right direction. They specialize in restoring older classic bikes, but they've been getting in more machine-work type equipment lately. They also do powdercoating, as a sidenote. Definitely worth the ride up there.
