So I just bought a 2010 Iron, went ahead and bought new handlebar and grips the other day. Installed them and rode the bike around to make sure everything was good. Shut the bike off then closed up my garage and when I went to start it up again it wouldn't :censor. Now I will say that during installation I pinched the plastic wire cover on the throttle side, but checked the wiring itself and there was no damage or pinching, so I wrapped some electrical tape around the cover and finished.
The bike ran fine and everything worked until I shut it off.
When I tried to start it up again, all the lights and speedo came on, but the fuel injection didnt. My horn and highbeams work, clutch and brakes are fine. But my on/off switch, engine start, and blinkers won't work. It doesn't make any sound when I push the button just doesn't do anything.
The battery is fully charged and it's a brand new bike so I don't think it was the starter.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this outside of taking it to the stealer?
I've double and triple checked all the wiring on the right grip and everything is correct and connected. The only thing that I was question was the pinch in the plastic cover but it didn't damage any wires or anything so I'm not sure.
Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! I've been without my bike for a week now.

I really only know the older bikes but I'll give a shot at yer brandy new scoot. When something works fine, then ya do some work, and suddenly no workee, u gotta triple check yer work. You might need to open the covering on the wire bundle and inspect the wires individually. Also check the switches and connections in the right bar, especially the kill switch (which is on, right?)
Keep lookin' and askin' cause one of the fart smellers..I mean "smart fellers"... on this forum will give ya the help ya need.

Yeah lol, I just went back and pulled the right side off then cut the wire bundle open. Looking at ~6" of the wires individually where the bundle was pinched, there was no damage minus a small crease. Checked and made sure the wire wasn't broken and taped it all back up. When it comes to the connections inside the right control covering, everything is plugged in correctly and nothing's loose. Still same result after everything is put back onto the bike.

Just looking at wires isn't gonna do it you'll need to probe with conuinty light are meter and ck handle bar side of wires are connectors to make sure U didn't pinch wire into.Ck all reset fuses to make sure one isn't tripped.Just some ideals.

This may be a stupid question, but is your green Neutral indicator light on (is the bike in neutral)? I once accidentally tried to start one of my bikes in gear while the kickstand was down and found out that the bike won't start in gear with the kick stand down and clutch out. Have you looked at the fuses? At least these are easy to check. Best of luck. -Dave.

EZ and Dave are giving it to ya real. Have ya checked that kill switch? Those connections are real easy to break.
Check yer battery cables at both ends and make sure all connects are clean and solid.

When you turn the key on (in neutral) do ya hear the fuel pump? Sure sign the kill switch is buggered...but WDIK...just a rookie here..
Good luck....(I like chardin's idea, hehe)

Do you have the security system? If so do you have a spare key fob? Try using that one it could be a dead battery in the fob. No security? Like said before check that pinched wore with a meter it could have split the wore inside the insulation. If its still a no go and those check out, report back and we will get ya fixed up!
