I just got back from riding about in the snow for the first time - we don't get alot of that in Atlanta, GA, USA. I think an ear froze off and I have to go back out and look for it; besides that, it was great. :chop

Was the snow sticking to the pavement or melting? Did you slide around much? Worst thing is that darned ice.

It was melting moments after it landed on the ground. More wet than anything. It was supposed to snow harder and stick but it warmed up over the past few days into the high 30's and 40's.

We have that most of the year; a very long riding season.

Sheeessshhhh...you guys had it easy, now I remember hardlee riders back in them thar days PUSHINN their bike, UPhill both ways to school!!! nyuknyuknyuk.....I was on a Honda so I got to RIDE...hardeharhar....

Of course I'm still on a Honda (ST 1300) but I don't remember the last time I rode the poor bike. Now my 1200R, and SV 1000N do get ridden. If only we had some temperature (high of 11F predicted for Saturday, after 3+ days of upcoming snow...) the Sporty would be back out, hmm...directly to the gas station. Ran her onto reserve on her last cold ride a week ago Sunday. Think SPRING!!! DFO :clap

The only bike I had to push was a Honda. To be fair, it was a 1975 CB550R and the current year was 1997. It was indeed up one hill in a GA summer. It was only one way but, with that heavy thing, one way was plenty. It weighed more than my sporty!

Well. The weather report up here in the great white north, says 15" of snow in the next couple of days  So no riding on Christmas day like last year :frownthre The Sporty has been in the garage for the past month and I have not been this long out of the saddle in the past 2yrs. On the bright side the long range forecast is calling for 50 degrees by next Wed. :D
