As some of you may have read, yesterday I droped 5K as a down on a 1200c at the dealer. I plan on financing the rest. He took all my info yesterday an faxed it to get credit approval, but the place was closed already. So today the sales guy calls me and tells me I got approved for something like 8%, a little higher then I was hoping. But he also tells me that he found a promoting on the sportster that qualified me to get 2.9% @ 36mo., 3.9% @ 48mo., or 4.9% @ 60mo. Now thats what I'm talking about. He even broke down how much I would be paying over the loan cost at the end of the loan periods for each option. Really, he had my $5k in hand, he could have told me 8% and I may have just sucked it up and ended up paying a lot more in the end. I am really pleased with this dealer (Domenico's in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii). Just too bad it is the farthest dealer from my house. But I guess I'll enjoy the rides. :clap

That's awesome. My dealer made no attempts to get my lower than an outrageous 8.99% since I wasn't buying the extended warranty. So I'm just paying the sucker off, screw them. But otherwise I'm really pleased with the dealership I went through.
