OK, someone help me out here. Want to put twin front disc's on my 02 custom. I've ordered disk, caliper and new right front lower fork from a same year roadster with twin disc's. Problem is new fork has a plug in the bottom that holds a valve or damping adjuster?? The factory fork on the left side only has the plug to drain oil. Whats the scoop here??. Do I need to order a lower fork to match to new one, or just install the plug / valve??

Could be a change-up on the new lower. I know that those little drain screws have caused a bit of grief to many people. Very easy to F-up and easy to lose. It's prob just a drain valve. Call the dealer and ask them.

Pics always help in asking your questions.

A pic would help a lot...... you're going to want both forks to have the same dampening and rebound in both forks......
