For anyone who would like to submit their Sportster ar the Sportster of the month please download the attached zip file and fill out the Word and Excel documents. If you do not have Microsoft Office than you can download Open Office at www.openoffice.org which is a free program that will allow you to edit the Word and Excel document.

Then email the documents and at least 10 to 30 good photos of your Sporty to bplinson at xlforum . net .

Motorcycle Photo Taking Tips:

1. Insure that the lighting is good. Try different lighting. Take some photos with and some without the flash.
2. Insure there are no distractions in the background, i.e. your car or truck, garbage cans, messy garage, etc... Be aware of everything that is in the photo frame...if something should not be there then remove it.
3. Keep the front wheel of the bike straight.
4. If the bike leans too much to the left when on the jiffy stand then support it with a block. (be careful that you do not tip the bike over on its's right side)
5. Take many photos from many angles. Many people take photos from just one angle (right side lookng down). Be creative with you angles.
6. Take closeup photos of things you want to draw attention to.
