Alright....busy busy busy....when I'm not on here !!!
OK, my plan is coming together. I am busy designing headbands......I call them hippie headbands but headgear sounds better I guess.. Of course they are very easy to design and make. There is quite a bit of stuff to do to actually get one out the door to a customer. I have a couple of ideas for several other things that tie into this very well.
Here's the name I've chosen, "Free Spirit Manufacturing". My daughter cracked up at my name.......she figured a real 'free spirit' wouldn't get tied down to a business or work.
She actually has a good point though !!
Anyway, I'm pretty jazzed.....
I am busy busy looking for different material for different themes....like hippie themes, motorcycle/biker themes, different military themes, Native American themes, sport themes, adult / kid themes and whatever else pops into my head or ideas other people give me.....like my little sister......she's great for ideas!! With a minimal investment we'll see what happens. My mother has the exact sewing machine I need. Oh yea, I'll be making these myself. I am going to start off by hocking them on ebay. But I am a ways off yet from that point...........
Anyway....that's the deal......hope it works.

Ok, got my business license......at the very last minute I became undecisive and registered two trade names. One is 'FreeSpirit'..... and the other is 'FreeSpiritDesigns'. The intent is to say FreeSpirit Headband manufactured by FreeSpiritDesigns. And on the labels I think it is important to put Made in USA on there too.

What fun!! Next we'll be seeing you on the show Shark Tank striking a deal and becoming rich.  I like the name. It has that hippie flavor to it. Sure, some might think it's cheesy, but most of the hippie culture sounds cheesy now a days. I think it is a groovy name. Right on!! |

Yep, ready for the goblins. Trying to keep my own fat paws out of the candy before then.
 We usually get a lot of trick or treaters where we live, and I get a kick out of how the neighborhood kids get all dressed up. I look forward to it. |
