Her Mom had a tumor taken out of her head 7 weeks ago.

Her Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.

And now this morning I found 2 lumps under my left armpit. There is no redness or heads on them. Doesnt hurt or itch. But it does make me wonder about my sore left breast.

For the past few months, my left nipple has been really sore and very sensitive. It feels like there is a thumbtack under the breast. If I put my hand on my left chest and push, it feels like I'm driving a nail into it.

I'll be going to the doctor's office as soon as I get back home and wonder and worry till then.

Hopefully it is just a cyst. DEEP DIVER is right that you found it quick. Just be quick at getting it looked at. To often we put things off hoping they will get better only to have things escalate.

Good luck Luke, hoping it's nothing major. Get it checked out ASAP.

I only got home yesterday so not yet. Going tomorrow even if I'm cured. The lumps are gone so I must be OK now, right?

Just got back from the doctor's office and it seems Im not dying just yet.

Had a breast exam (feel awkward saying saying that) and nothing to worry about and the lumps were probably cause by an infection and I fought and won against it.
But he did tell me to keep checking and not to hesitate to go back if lumps keep showing up.

BTW, Im sure you knew that breast cancer is "common" with women. But 1 in 8? And it's extremely rare in men, 1 in 100000.

Ran in to a old friend a few days ago.
He told me that over christmas, he was rushed in with lumps in both sides.
4 years ago he had prostrate cancer and now male breast cancer.
Had them removed withen 3 weeks.
    So keep checking.
    Take care.
