Zepplinc20's 1250 Build!
Ok guys. Here is another one for you. I mainly want have a place to get feedback. I'll post pictures here and there so you can tell me if I'm f'n up. The reason for this build is this
And here is some of the damage
The bike was going to be fixed at the stealership, but they were going to reuse a piston with a crack in it, not to mention the obviously bent pushrod. And it still would have cost 900 bucks. So I decided to do it myself and make some upgrades. Stage 2 heads are at Hammer now. SE 575 cams. Roller rockers, and powerglides.
Wrist pin retaining clip
Moving along
How do my cams look? You guys see any issues so far?

Ouchie! A 2008 Sporty? Screw from an air cleaner?
I fixed your pic links. You have to copy the IMG tag
to make them show click free here.
And I'm not an eks-pert but I did install cams last
week and got them right the first time so I'd say
yours look good. Thanks for sharing your pics!

I don't know how you would go about checking your bearings for damage, but the beating they took will almost certainly reduce their lifespan.
