when you say it won't move you need to give a little more info. do you mean in neutral it won't turn over but you can hear starter trying or just a click or nothing at all?

In Neutral it will move, but when I tried to hit the starter in neutral it just clicked. It seemed like it was stopping the starting, no noise happened after that. I rode it a few times today, I think I freaked out a little early. I think my starter is going bad, or I had a bad connection from the battery. I tightened up the connections when I got home from work.
How do I know if I am about to shit a starter? Also are they rebuildable?

Check both ends of the battery cables. You are describing a battery issue.

1. What is battery voltage, key off? A $30 Radio Shack auto-ranging digital multimeter will answer that.
2. What is battery voltage, key on?
3. What is the battery voltage while cranking?
4. As khaskins already posted, have you checked the integrity of both ends of both battery cables?

At 11 years old, it could be battery and/or cables
Wish everyone with a potential (pun intended) electrical problem had a voltmeter and made a few basic reads.
