custom paint 04 hugger
this guy at work who is a painter(i work at ballys casino hotel) is going to paint my stang this summer.well i was talkin to him at lunch and we were tlakin about harleys and he said he paints bikes too.i was like sweet. he said he likes doing bikes better b/c its less work.
this is what i wanna do.tell me what you guys/gals think.
its gonna be black/ with a metal flake ghost flame and a slight shade of silver pearlessent to outline the tips and lines of the flame all will be faded into eachother. and in the same type of flame paint,the oil tank and bat cover will have 883 custom airbrushed on them. it will be done in about 3 wks.as soon as he gets an open bay.the 1200 conv will wait now. it may wait until next fall b/c there's some other stuff i wanna get done.oh.and the sweetest part of all this he quoted me a price of $150.00. i can't freekin wait.

that sounds good. only $150. that's a great price. Man wish i knew him, my paint job cost $1400. what type of paint is he going to use. I have ppg on mine but there are other good ones to use also. are you going to do the fenders as well? good luck with it and post some pics when your done.

yeah i'm doin all the tins.i think he said he was using dupont.oh its also goin to have 5 coats of white clear too.i will def post picks.

well i'm sure if you mail them he'll paint them.maybe not the discount i got but no more than 300.and if its just a standard paint job prolly no more than 150. |
