Default Nightster turn signal question

Hi all,

I have searched around and have not had any luck. I am chopping my rear fender and will be putting a spring seat on my nightster. I have seen a few youtube videos where somone mounted the rear signals near the rear axel down low. Any idea how you might do that? Has somene here done this? Thanks in advance,

Cole
