I've been over a hundred on my '77 and that scared the shit outta me seeing how it is a chopper and kinda hard to control at that speed. Don't plan on doing it again cause it made me drink way too much afterwards just to calm down.

Got my '75 up to one hundred going to the beach. The thing had throttle left, but the front was getting real unstable. Won't do that again.

It's really hard to be sure how fast your ACTUALLY going. If you go by your speedo you have to figure it's going to be incorrect. We have a lot of loooong straight roads in Australia. Best I ever saw on a "stock" IH (74 XL1000) was 112. Mate on a Honda claimed we were going 114, Triumph Bonneville topped out at 110, Norton guy claimed 90 ! So .... take your pick.
But I'm pretty sure you should be able to push it to at least 110.
