suggestions/ comments on my project?
I spent all winter re-building my 1981 sportster and just finished. It was completely stock (and a little rough) when i started and now its a cafe/ dirt track style bike. I shouldnt have said "finished" because im looking for comments or suggestions for my bike! You can check out my bike pictures in my user gallery or in my attachment.

Damn nice job! Do you have any before pics? I'm struggling to think of anything it needs. Maybe some black mags and gaitors. Nice work!

Very nice! Home-built and an ironhead, so double cool.
Looks good as is, but maybe lace up an 18" in the back, and trim the cam and sprocket covers.

Pretty sweet. Who made the dual carb set-up?

everyone's got an opinion. The bike looks excellent. I agree with the 18" rim on the back, it will balance the bike a bit. Bar end mirrors or mount the stockers under the bars also a good idea.
For my taste, I'm not sure I like the orange frame and swingarm, black might look better, but it's your scoot and you've done a great job.
Cheers,
Brett

I love tracker style. Keep the spoke wheels and the peanut tank. Maybe an 18'' on the rear, but looks damn good as it is!
