Roadster front break removal?
I have an '04 1200R with the dual front brakes. I'm ordering a set of bars that comes with the new wires but it is for single front brake designs. Can I simply remove one of the front brakes or is the design of these on the Roadsters different than a normal single brakes?
Could just get a seperate brake line as well I guess. Having the dual front brakes is nice but not a deal breaker.

Why not just use your existing master cylinder and lines. More of a job removing the half of a complete brake system than it is to swap the m/c.

Dual brake is there for a reason. I wouldn't even think about removing half of it.

The Roadster master cylinder has a larger bore than a single disk MC. Why would you want to reduce your braking power for the sake of new bars?

Here's the better question I guess. I'd like to get the Burley 14" narrow ape kit but it says it is for single disk bikes. What would I need to install these and keep my dual brakes? Simple as just another brake line? Thanks.

If your existing brake line setup is;
Single line from m/c to the T that is connected to the T with banjo fitting or threaded attachment, then dual independent lines from the T to each caliper, then yes, all you will need to do is change the line from the m/c to the T.
If your existing brake line setup is;
Single line from m/c to the T that is made to the T with no banjo fitting or threaded attachment, then dual independent lines made to and from the T to each caliper, then you will need to change the all the lines from the m/c to the calipers.
Still an easier job to replace all the brake lines than to sacrifice a brake and all the work involved removing the disc and caliper.

Ditto on that. I removed one side, because I liked the look better. Just about every other model has a left side brake, so you'll be fine with just that. You will have to get used to braking slightly earlier, though.

Yeah, I'd just get a new brake line and keep the duals.
BUT, if you DO decide to change your mind I'm about to have all the parts from a single brake set-up available, PLUS I've also got a floating rotor and Dyna caliper which will be available too (which is probably close to the stopping power of the duals).
