USA Made Custom Leathers
Hi Gang... Long time since you heard from me. Sorry 'bout that, but I have a question: Are there any USA Companies that make custom motorcycle jackets anymore? I can't seem to find any. I had a jacket I wanted to have made in my "Wish List" file by a company called "Classic Motorcycle Jackets", but I guess they went out of business as I can't find them on the web. Too much of what's available is imported crap. I'm looking for traditional motorcycle jacket, w/ brass hardware, (zippers, snaps, etc.). Heavy duty, last forever. Got any leads. Thanks. NickNasty

If you've got the $, check out Langlitz Leathers. Custom made to your measurements. They're in Portland, I think, and you can get measured there or have a tailor take your measurements and send them to Langlitz. Wait time is usually a few months. http://www.langlitz.com/
For less cash, a lot of people like Fox Creek Leather. Not 100% custom fit, but not off the rack either. Also made in USA. http://www.foxcreekleather.com/

+1 on FoxCreek. Not custom, but they pretty much have what you described.
I have one of their jackets and the quality is incredible.

I like Vanson leathers too. A little too pricey for me but everyone I know who has Vanson is ecstatic. I can's speak for the others.
