Ok, since I am by far an expert on these things I will ask of the wisdom on this board. His explanation seems likely since it was the buy out of AMF in that time frame if I am not mistaken. Check this out and let me know.

The guy doesn't know what he has. The Q/A at the bottom of the auction spells it out pretty good.

What a shame. He should end the auction, figure out what he really has and re-list it correctly.

I didn't even see that at the bottom. I actually found this on Craigslist earlier last week and he was saying that they were using up all the old parts. Looks like he is taking a beating on the questions though.

Nothing unusual about another CLUELESS E-Prey seller.

A new guy.......zero feedback......only registered a few days. First sell attempt is A BIKE!!!!!!!!

ONLY A COMPLETE IDIOT like the seller would BUY from this guy via E-Prey!

6 hrs to go.........$3999 starting price..............ZERO bidders...........RESERVE "naturally" not met.

A just end to yet another clueless Ebay idiot.

6 hours left and not a nibble @ $4000. Might be worth that, but there sure are some questions left to be answered. Under 1000 miles? Hmmmmmm. I sure doubt that claim.

Late 87-883 Hugger/1380cc (84") conversion. Too many cool parts to list. Built engine on a fresh set of cases, so conversion might not really describe it. Estimated near 115 hp.
Early 87-883/1200 conversion. Wife's bike. SE heads, 1200 flat pistons, 40" Drag Pipes, everything else stock.

He's obviously another "wanna-be" who " couldn't - be"................

Bet the wife wants a new livingroom suite or SUV down payment.
