Default cracked sprocked cover

Bike fell of Jack, and I noticed a small crack, 3/4" above the brake pedal mount. Im looking for a new cover on Ebay. How serious is this. Ive seen Sportys with this cover removed I think. What does the community think? I dont think there is any liquid to flow out of there. I should be cool for a wek or two till Im able to find one right?
