Default 08 1200 question

I have an 08 XL1200L and heres my possible problem. When I come to a stop after riding any kind of distance at highway speeds, the idle stays pretty high for 2-3 minutes before it drops back down to a normal idle. So my question is-is this normal or do I need to take it in (its under warranty)?
