Folkie or Admiral Nelson -

I am curious on both you photos you have small "fliter" looking "things" for lack of knowledge on either side of your filters!

Just curious what they are and do as they aint on my bike! lol

they are crank case breathers .instead of burning the oil vapour you vent it through a filter on either side.

Texas - I was going to say, the oil vapour normally gets routed back into the carb from both cylinders or you can have shiny filters.

I can confirm that its good, and very shiny.

I went and got a bracket today. Jeez you guys in the States have it good. JP sell these brackets for $25 US. By the time they get to us it was £35 or $56 US.

It was the same with my control cables. HD Plymouth UK wanted £230 or £368 US! I had a quote in the UK for £175 plus delivery $280 US. I got a full set of Barden cables (2 throttle, clutch and brake in stainless) from a guy in the US for £125 delivered ($200 US incl $33 delivery). They arrived today and I had to pay £26 Customs duty $41 US!
