Default Roadster front break removal?

I have an '04 1200R with the dual front brakes. I'm ordering a set of bars that comes with the new wires but it is for single front brake designs. Can I simply remove one of the front brakes or is the design of these on the Roadsters different than a normal single brakes?

Could just get a seperate brake line as well I guess. Having the dual front brakes is nice but not a deal breaker.
