The real reason I asked, to be technical about it, was:

1). The markings on there have all been rubbed off, for whatever reason

2). My buddy had a Triumph Triple, and there was a similar button, and when you hit it, it would "boost" the engine. Wasn't nitrous, so I figured it had to do with timing or something. Never rode the Triumph, so he could be full of shit, too.

I found that it is very handy when wearing gloves, because you can palm it, unlike the high/low switch, but never knew about the euro connection. Makes a lot more sense now, considering their weather. Was hoping for something more exotic though. Like a phone signal interrupter? Can you make one for a bike? Sure.
