Trail of Tears in September

I'm planning on making the Trail of Tears run on September 17th. I have been told that there are two different runs - I'm looking at Chatanooga to Florence (supposedly led by the originator of the ride). Any Tennessee or north Alabama members planning to go - maybe we could setup a meet. I will be riding up to Chatanooga from the Florida panahandle on the 16th in case someone else may be making their way up through Alabama also. I really want to try to get to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum on the way up.
