I just saw the made for TV movie "Drew Peterson, Untougchable!" yesterday, I wanted to see the sporty, but they had Rob Lowe (playing drew peterson) riding a Soft Tail with FX front end and drag bars.  |

I just saw on Top Gear where they showed Richard Hammonds motorcycle, he wasn't riding it, but it was a Sportster. That's the only mention I've ever heard of it.
(it was in the 2009 episode "3 1,500 pound RWD coupes", where they have to do 0 to 60 then stop before hitting something of theirs, hammond says it's his motorbike and there is a sportster parked between a piano and a drum set at the end of the track.)

Looks like the lead singer, Mitch Lucker, for a metal band called suicide silence died on a new 2013 Sportster 48 yesterday after a crash Halloween night. I never really got into his music but he seemed like a good guy. I saw a video of the band doing some charity work for kids one Christmas.
