Default Dry sound in the topend?

So I recently had some work done inside the primary at the local chopper shop. I noticed when I got it back about a week later that it was making a dry sort of sound that seemed like it was coming from the top end. It has plenty of oil but it sounds like its not getting enough top the top. Any help would be great. Thanks.
