I would replace the electrical (as odd as that sounds)
But a new battery, stator, plugs, and wires may help stabilize the engine a bit

Usually heat creates to much resistance in the worn out relays. Coils do the same with heat, ignition coils and cdi pick up coils... I wouldn't do a stator cause it cranks fine and the battery had power... The bike cranked but wouldn't fire so stator prob isn't it
