I think I have one of the better running Stage I Rubbermounts here and I shudder to think how it would run with a canned Twinkie Map !

Like I said, I'm not getting into a pissing match over this. However, I know of very reputable people that make huge horsepower using nothing more than the switches. I am in no way disputing the fact that a tweaked map might work better on a particular bike. Key words being "particular bike". Looking at Punkmckn's specs I'd say 5 and 5 would be an excellent place to start.
George, I think you might be surprised at the results you would get on the dyno.
I've said my piece here, I'm sure RRRRRico and I will have a nice discussion about it in a couple of hours when he gets to my garage to help me work on my bike.

I would have to go waay back in my records and Im not sure I ever ran the canned map !
All I can say for certain is my last Dyno (not a hero pull as I was standing on the Dyno with the operator) was my best ever and certainly within about 5% of what a Stage I is capable of.
I have yet to see a real 80 80 chart for a Stage I though Len got close.

Loony
Might ask Rico for the "Nomad" map and set the Initial switch to 8
Although he may have an identical map that will run at 5x5

Jason, I sent you the R&D map which George has dubbed The Nomad. It is the same map that he has...so I recommend you follow his advice on the module settings. I have never run this map myself, so I can't give you my impressions of it.

Hey Rick send me the "Nomad" if you will. I will add it to the "list" to test on the dyno. That is if I can ever get it on the dyno. Thanks!
