Roller rocker are usually recommended with lifts over .575, so I would say yes.

Well, side loading on the valve goes up as lift goes up, so sure, as you get into higher lifts, roller rockers will extend guide life. Yes, .575 is a pretty good recommendation, that's the guideline we give. That said, it's not like your guides are going to suffer extreme wear if you go .025 more than that on your stock rockers, just somewhat more wear.

Thanks for the quick replies. I guess I'm leaning toward the 560 cams then because roller rockers just aren't in the budget right now.

Hi aswracing.
I'm thinking about the 600 cams, I now have stock 883 heads, cams and a NRHS 1250 kit in 07 C..
I want bolt in cam, I'm considering to buy a set of 1200 heads and just let you CNC them as you decide the wery best to fit your 600 cams and a D&D bobcat a Forcewinder + PowerVision...
I'm sure I need some new pistons in here also, CR im not sure where to aim really!.
I want a reliable engine, but I also want to cross the magic 100Hp line
What results do you think Hp & Tq wise this would see?.

Chris, yes, you'll most likely have to change the pistons. My guess is you've got reverse dome pistons and those more or less lock you into fairly mild 883 heads.
We really believe our latest and greatest Smash Head Porting on 883 heads can support 100+ hp. Mxmike800 just showed a 97.7hp result with the smaller valve version of HAMMER Dan prepared 883 heads (1.715 intake and 1.480 exhaust) and a set of SE .536 cams and a 1250 kit. A set of 883 heads like these has our exclusive larger 1.760/1.530 valves and flows plenty enough more to easily break through.
If you go that route, I'd recommend our Impact 560 cams. As you can see they're more than capable of 100hp, and in fact, in that test they handily pounded the SE 536's. But they're a much better match for Smash 883 heads in general, as they don't have nearly the overlap of the 600's. The 883 heads have longer valves that start out closer together and closer to the piston and as such they really don't support a whole lot of overlap. Plus, the smaller valves (as compared to what we put in 1200 heads) makes them less able to take advantage of the .600 lift.
If you decide to go with 1200 heads, we want to do something new to them ... not ready to go public with it yet, but HAMMER Dan and I truly believe that with Crush 600 cams and this new thing, 105hp will be an easy target and 110 won't be unusual.
Of course, for any of these numbers, the usual disclaimers apply, all the parts have to support it (the exhaust is VERY critical) and you have to tune it properly.
Let's work together and make some big numbers!!! HAMMER Dan and I are anxious!

I am currently waiting on getting my crank done and the new 48mm intakes to try these cams in a 90" engine.
