I had a turkey graze my helmet, a yellow jacket in my helmet, a bee went right up my nostril once, and I had a rock hit my face shield and fly up and over my buddy who was behind me. He was there for the bee incident and when it went up my nostril my hand went from the throttle to my nose so I slowed down enough for him to pass while I was trying to extract a bee from my nostril, he looked a bit surprised but I filled him in on what happened at the next gas stop.

On a trip onetime, following behind a truck - a box of spray paint cans fell out of the trailer in front of me and riding buddy. Not too many places to go as we were entering the highway from the on ramp.
Prepared to tuck and roooooll, but got lucky and missed them.

Its been many years ago but I once felt a pretty hard smack to the center of my chest about mid-night. It was dark and a back road and I just figured it was a big bug of some sort. Several miles later I walked into a bar and very soon a woman looked at me and began screaming. Turns out eh "big bug" was a Dobson Fly, and he was still hanging on my shoulder - very much alive.
Not the same one but here's an example

Those Dobson's are huge. A few weeks ago took a bee to the face at 70+ mph on a freeway and had to keep up with the flow of traffic and try to extract the stinger at the same time, made for an interesting ride and makes me consider going from the 3/4 to a FF helmet.

Why did the chicken cross the road? Apparently to hit me in the shoulder. I was riding up Petit Jean mountian here in Arkansas last summer and some kids threw a live (I assume) chicken at me. Smacked me in the shoulder and killed the bird. I stopped and had a long talk with their Dad who was rightly pissed about the chicken. After several promises of "discipline", which I know what country "discipline" is, I went on my way with one tenderized chicken in my bag for dinner..
The worse so far is the "big ass bug" to the forehead, that yeah, almost knocked me out.

Back in 1982 I was coming home from a nice ride and around this one corner from my house what appeared to be a log in the road was a possum, I was right on that sucker, so I stood up on the pegs of my 1982 V45 magna and hit that sucker head on!! I bounced right over that sob, and kept right on going and never looked back ~
