Default XR1000 Rocker Arm Bearings

Cleaning up a pair of heads and noticed one of the rocker arm bearings was a bit chewed up on the edge. Rollers are still in place and no harm done that I can see. It appears there was no shim used on this side and the smaller bearing cage just rubbed itself to death. Anyway, the bearings are Torrington B-97 and you have some really GOOD eyes if you can read that on a used version. Thought I would pass it along.

Hello - you can find them on eBay through entering 'B97 Torrington' in your search window. The seller that sells them is 'Locatebearings' and they are $3.46 USD each. You will need to tell him the quantity through email so the shipping will be low. Or, they should be available through any bearing supplier as they are not an uncommon bearing. Remember to install them so the printing is always facing you where you can read it.
