More wiring help please
What are these components (A,B,C) that arent named?
Number 39(E) is the directional flasher but why is it placed at the front of the bike in the schematic? On my '74 XLCH it is attatched to the frame under the seat.
And where are all these circuit breakers (D,32,33,34) located at? The only circuit breaker I know of is attatched to the frame, under the seat next to the directional flasher.

Flasher E was originally in the headlite so someone moved it?
D are in the list you posted, 32, 33, 34 circuit breakers.
A, B & C are wire looms.

Thanks Mick, the mounting for the directional flasher under the seat looked factory to me so I assumed that's where it's supposed to be. Also in the schematic, three circuit breakers are shown. The only one I have is the one under the seat. Where are these other circuit breakers and what do they mount to?

the rectangular shaped clip that the flasher is in, is there another identical clip right below the flasher? if so then those two clips are where the other breakers belong. and the flasher belongs inside the headlamp like mick said.

+1. except when you say the flasher 'belongs' in the headlight bucket it sounds like you are saying it should go back in there. There is way to much crap in the headlight bucket, anything you can get out of there is best left out in my opinion.
I didn't know that a circuit breaker clip makes for a perfect hardware store flasher holder. That's great. To bad the PO got rid of 2 circuit breakers though.

Wow I dont know HOW I missed the 3 embarassingly obvious breaker clips in there. Thanks mang
Now before I tear the headlight apart, I've read some things that lead me to believe that my headlight is not OEM. What you think?
Also, the PO was my dad. He bought it new in Miami back in the day. A lot of hilarious history took place on this scooter. He restored it back in '94 and now I'm giving it a decent going-over. It's still got a lot of life left in it. Cant wait to get it going.

the light is not OEM light so you may need to make a wire diagram to add to your FSM one to show you where things were move to . Nikki

and also billeuze is right, the flasher can be relocated anywhere that you deem convenient.

My 73 CH had a two post headlight bucket like that one, but not chrome. There was a clip on the inside of the headlight eyebrow to mount the flasher to.

"A" & "C" are the handlebars, "B" is the frame the wires run through these parts or at least should.
