Default Turn signal relocation

Has anyone tried moving their turn signals to the rear most fender mount bolt hole? I need alittle more room for my bags and this looks do-able.

I think I would just go ahead and put them on a license plate bar. If you are going to the trouble of taking them off anyway, why not just put them out of the way completely. That way you can get bigger bags someday and not worry about it.
