Default Moving front turn signals

I'm looking at getting a bit bigger/wider windshield. One thing I notice with the windshield I currently have is that the turn signals being mounted on the bars the way they are, cause a distracting orange glow on the back of the windshield at nite. I know a wider windshield will probably be that much worse so I'm thinking of moving the turn signals.

I can't afford the HD light bar just now, but saw that they make clamps for moving the turn signals down onto the fork tubes. Anyone done this and have a pic to share? How difficult is it....it doesn't look like it would be that complicated?

I see several sets of clamps on eBay for $25 new. I have 39mm tubes right? lol I thought maybe this would be a less expensive alternative to the light bar right now and then I can get my bigger windshield and not have to worry about the orange glow.
