Raingear best color? Fluorescent orange or Lime Green
Trying to make up my mind regarding best raingear color for others to see you.
Bright orange or bright lime-green?
Both seem like a good choice but I notice road construction workers and fire trucks seem to favor the lime-green.
What are your thoughts?

I started wearing hi viz stuff more often when I ride. I opted for the bright lime green. I call it high viz yellow, but it's the same color construction workers wear. Guy left turned in front of me yesterday though, so the jury's still out on this one...

This side of the pond, rail workers wear orange, while construction workers, road workers, police, in fact, just about every man and his dog, wears yellow. Yellow high-vis has become so universal that I believe it's becoming lo-vis - it no longer registers with a lot of people - so I'd favour the orange if I were to start wearing hi-vis clothing for riding.

I have the high vis H-D rain suit . Very good stuff. Was only available in orange though.

I bought both. My dealer had a sale. Now I'm trying to decide which one to carry.
Generally, I try not to ride if it looks like rain but I'm doing a cross-country in June or July.
Both take up the same space.
Thanks for the input.

Visibility is always a good idea. Orange or green stand out equally IMO.
But when "Legs" and I ride, I always pack her "rain gear"....a white tee shirt and lose the bra!
Hey, if we're going to get wet, might as well enjoy it!

Good for her (and you) but I'll spare the general public.

Just havin' a little fun! She'd brain me if I showed her that post!
I see you bought both colors....smart idea being visible in rainy conditions. My rain suit has luminescent stripes for just such an occassion.

Now that you have both colors, I presume they are two piece (jacket and pants)...you can mix and match to really stand out!

I wouldn't know what being a "fashion statement" is like.
Yes, I do have both and they are two-piece.
Both take the same amount of space so maybe I'll just go with whatever I feel like for the day huh?
Basically I don't care to ride in the rain but I still want to be seen.
