Seeding Clouds
During Vietnam we seeded clouds so the Ho Chin Minh trail would stay wet and not a easy path for the north to take.Just wondering why we can't do this for the forest fires and the drought stricken farm lands anyone know?

A good read but I didn't see any mention of the US using it in Vietnam.I remember the Chinese doing it at the Olympic's just figured they learnt from us in Nam.

When a cloud is seeded... it prevents it from raining on other communities...
I remember the US visiting much abuse and horror upon the North and South Vietnamese... never heard about seeding. From what I remember... the last thing Nam needed was more rain...

Knut yeah it does dams also cause problems for ones down stream.
That HAARP stuff makes me think when I was a kid watching star trek with their communication and now we all have cell phones.

I always thought seeding a cloud was a myth or just something you would see in a cartoon. Always leaning new things in XLF!

Years ago they they did cloud seeding in Australia. The water you get in one area is taken away from another. Doesn't create water, just changes where it falls.
