Default Mikuni Install - VOES Relocation

Getting my motor back together after 1250, cams, heads, ignition and an hsr42. I was putting the top motor mount back on and noticed the voes switch doesn't fit where it should anymore. The instructions are no help as they say to move it to the horn mount. Well on my '03 the horn is between the down tubes and not on the top motor mount. I know I'm not the only one who has run into this problem.

I bent mine out of the way and left it there. My 1200 had the horn just below the ignition on the left side.

Hi zman69, I had the same issue. I just took it off the bracket & cable or (zip) tied it to the motor mount safley out of the way nice & snug. All is well & no issues to report from doing it either.
