Sheeite!!!. . .looks the goods . . not sure how much oil those rocker boxes would spit?

I've got a set of ex Bill Furr T&O 5 1/4" IH Stroker wheels at home, not sure what cubic inch this would give you (I only bought them for the S&S rods that were on them) they make a decent paper weight!!!

Sputhe Engineering is fairly well known in the motorcycle racing world. Custom engines. Here's a link to their site. They actually developed the mini sump for Harley back in the day of the XR750.

Here's an old pic of a Sputhe-engined bike.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.

My engine builder has a 92" sputhe, which is almost unstreetable, My Sputhe aluminum top end engine is very streetable at 77". That would be nice for a project but unless you are building for drag that thing is too much.

I've been negotiating with the guy to buy it.........everyone I know is telling me I'm out of my mind. A little detuning would be in order, along with welding up some access covers for those rocker covers - probably nothing more than welding a threaded bung on them. Add a streetable cam set, drop the compression, raise my top frame rail, and? Is there anyone in here that thinks I'm not crazy?
