After having problems with 2 oem batteries in 5 years, I went back to HD batteries.

does our bike (2005 and 2007) take
YTX14ahl or YTX14L

I thought the battery number for a 04-11 was YTX14L-BS (yuasa's battery number)
The size of the YTX14L-BS from yuasa is L-150mm x H-145mm x W-87mm (-/+ 2mm)
Terminal layout: Left = NEGETIVE & Right = POSITIVE + (With the terminals on the edge nearest to you)

+1 Yuasa YTX14L-BS. Note the ‘L’ designation is required so that the terminals are the correct way around. YTX14-BS is the same battery and cheaper but will not fit. Mine was installed 18 months ago, I use a battery tender during the winter and so far 100% performance with instantaneous starts.
