Default The long clutch

In the same fashion as the previous thread on the Kill switch (Kill or Be Killed), I was thinking about the clutch at long lights.

Some people say hold in the clutch at the light (in case someone comes up on you and ya gotta split) and to also save the tranny from shifting into neutral constantly.

Others say put it in neutral to avoid damage.

So which is it?

I'd rather replace a clutch spring than a tranny bearing, personally. But maybe someone else has some insight?
