Thank you 94Sporty! Everything you have told me is spot on. My Sporty is up and running again! Obviously I don't live in California so I don't have all the emission control stuff. I should have known about the tail light and would have figured it out once I attempted to put my fender back on. You see, I took this bike apart about 4 years ago right after I got married... Now I am not married and I am back to having fun again. Putting things back together after a long time gets to be a little challenging. The wire I was missing was a wire that was grouped with 2 other wires and they were all black. I assumed all black wires were ground... I know different now..... I wish there was something I could do in return for your help. If you think of anything just let me know. Have a great day!!
