Regulator fix kit finally came today. Pump assembly is back in bike, bike seems to run fine, but the fuel pump still does the quiet cycle at key on. That has me wondering if that's how it's supposed to sound, or if it's on the way out because of the formerly leaky regulator.
Thanks for all the help, very glad to have my bike running again.

So maybe this was the problem all along. Bike still runs strong, and it sounds a little better, and less decel pop.
