Actually Doc
No Smog checks on bikes, starting in 2013, any new bike you will not be allowed to put on an aftermarket exhaust-mufflers on your bike unless it is OEM or CARB approved.

I was with ABATE when they were fighting the bill a couple of years ago, yes they wanted to Smog bikes and then started adding all kinds of riders onto the bill, so as a compromise the no aftermarket exhaust on 2013 and later bikes is the result.

That's right, never paid for a toll on the bike, and i don't plan on it anytime soon. Just ride on the dotted line between the sensors and they will never know you were there.

There's pro and cons to living anywhere, no place is perfect. Just live where you will be happy!
