I want it..... for my restoration I love that they get taken off at one point or another. (I did it too.) but now i want it back....

If i remember right there was a tube coming out that unit that went down to the bottom run of chain.

Yep. A little metal tube that ended just above the chain. The 'bolt' on the top is the valve. Turn it all the way in to shut it off. I still have mine on my 73, I just shut it off so there isn't a mess.

Actually, it is the top of the chain right behind the sprocket. At least that is where mine is.

well what goe's around might come back,around,if any were saved from the scrap bin. would this just be to point out the overkill,of this unnecassary,device?
