Question brake light staying on [ slow return on brake lever ]

hi all , got a problem with brakes on 883R 2005 , it went back on recall for this problem and all has been fine up this month [ june ] brake lever returns very slowly and causes brake light to stay on , [ brakes still work ok ] what is the procedure to resolve this fault with this year model is there are permament repair ? thanks .

I'd start by bleeding the brakes. Slow lever return would be controlled by brake fluid in master cylinder. The switch only engages at when the gap between the lever and the mount closes.

YEP Take a close look at the brake handle right where the lever contacts the little switch nipple. And watch what happens when you pull and release the handle.....
They may just need bled, And the switch itself could be jamming up i guess but watching it should determoine which is happening...
