I just remembered it was Japan, but yes I was being sarcastic. I just remember the stamping on parts USA and it being japan not U.S.A. the vendors told me to look for the period between the letters. It wouldn't surprise me if they had a province in china as well just to produce parts made in usa.
I do know that a reputable Cam manufacturer recently started having their cam blanks made in china then they grind them here in the states and send them out as made in the U.S.A. we will see how that plays out.
